I have been a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist for 14 years. I am on the specialist register of the General Medical Council and I am a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists. 

Part of my work is with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for Guernsey in the Channel Islands, where I work two days each week.

In private practice I see children and carers following referral by their General Practitioner, for issues such as depression, loss and change,  problems with anxiety or obsessionality, behaviour problems, relationship problems and family difficulties. 
I usually meet children at my office in the New Forest.

Additionally I undertake medico-legal work.  I have been preparing reports for the family courts in proceedings concerning contact, residence, and parenting competence for the last 15 years. I also make assessment in compensation cases following trauma or injury and provide reports in cases following accidental injury and undertake assessments of children with psychological injuries following traumatic events. Please contact me to discuss fees, availability and timescales.

From July 2014 I have had practicing privileges at the Priory Hospital Southampton and the Nuffield Hospital Bournemouth.  I offer out-patient assessment, follow-up and treatment of emotional and psychological problems affecting children and adolescents.  Please contact the hospital of your choice to get details about organising an appointment.
